Capital Markets Cooperative Appoints New Senior Vice President and Western Regional Sales Manager
Len Israel to bring more than 24 years of mortgage banking and capital markets experience
Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. - June 10, 2009 - Capital Markets Cooperative (CMC), a firm that leverages its cooperative power and secondary marketing expertise to improve execution and increase individual member profitability, today announced the appointment of Len Israel as Senior Vice President of Western Regional Sales for CMC. Mr. Israel joined the company in June 2009. In this position, Mr. Israel is responsible for opening up the West Coast to CMC. Drawing on his long tenure in the industry, he will identify strong institutions that would benefit from a CMC partnership.

Mr. Israel comes to CMC with more than 24 years of mortgage banking and capital markets experience. Before joining CMC, Mr. Israel served for five years as Senior Vice President, responsible for the formation and growth of the Correspondent Services Division for Indymac Bank, and later assumed management responsibility for warehouse lending.

From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Israel was Senior Vice President, Director of Correspondent Lending for Citimortgage, based in St. Louis. His accomplishments include completing a shift in the business paradigm from a primarily jumbo best efforts emphasis to a "pure pass-through" agency platform supported by a mandatory trade desk. Mr.Israel drove the initial design, functionality and implementation of a website to conduct business with correspondent partners nationally and under his leadership, the Company incorporated geographic and risk-based pricing methodologies supported by electronic loan registration and pricing capabilities.
Mr. Israel received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Finance from California State University, Fullerton and his Master of Arts degree in
Psychology from Pepperdine University. He holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker's license and the Mortgage Banker's Association designation of Certified Mortgage Banker ("CMB").
